 These are of the ruins of the Cathedral in Antigua.  This was an amazing structure with 7 chapels around the main sanctuary.  One side chapel survived and is still used today.  You can only imagine the beauty of this church before the earthquake.   Notice the sign with the dates of major events, the floor plan and the depiction of the cathedral under construction.  

The odd rooms the arched roofs are the burial crypt.  The Bat shaped hole on the far wall is where the bones were burned after they ran out of room.  

I know, creepy.  They actually had two big rooms like this.  One for the latins, and one for the indians.  Never the two shall be buried together.

The white facade was restored.  The three main doors still lead to a narthex for the last remaining chapel, which is the building to the right.
