This is the view from the top of my hotel this morning. Each is of at least one volcano which frames the valley that cradels the town of Antigua. This 14th century town served as the first capital for the Conquistadores when they ruled this region. We have already seen the ruins of a convent built around 1545, and we will be seeing more ruins today. What a beautiful place.
